IMO Ritchie at 82 is high. Kevan* Miller will also drop. Other than that, agreed for almost everything.

Ya I kind of feel like Ritchie is more of a sub 80 grade. Maybe a 78-79? I look at it as

1st line - 90+
2nd line - 80-89
3rd line - 75-80
4th line - 74 or less

1st pair - 90+
2nd pair - 80-89
3rd pair - 79 or less

Ritchie is probably a little high and Miller could be a 79 or 78 especially after missing this past season
But debrusk should be a medium elite still (especially after really elevating his play this year)

I know bro lol, he is a spotty player unfortunately,
but saying he isnt medium elite potential just kinda isnt fair considering he was a former first rounder, is a big late developing type player, and has a LOT of room to grow.
Just give it a year or so and then drop him to Medium top 6 if he doesnt develop

If i make a guy a medium elite in nhl 20, he grows way to much and has to much trade value

I mean the gap would be the same for the 1st line, no? anyone from a 90-99 would be a 1st liner and anyone between 80-89 would be a 2nd liner. If you're 80+ then you're an above average player the way I look at it. The closer you fall towards that 80 mark though the more you're more of that "middle six" guy. For example Coyle in this case is an 83. In real life, he'd be a serviceable #2C, but he's an great #3C.

They actually changed this in like nhl 16 or something i wish i could find it

It use to be like
1st: 92+
2nd: 87-91
3rd: 83 - 86
4th: 79 - 82

but they change it to:

1st: 88+
2nd: 84-87
3rd: 80 - 83
4th: 75 - 79

Im pretty sure. (im gonna keep looking, but thats how I remember it being)

EDIT: FOUND IT!

https://www.easports.com/nhl-19/news/2017/nhl-18-player-overall-rating-changes

helped me out with what? OP asked about their personal ratings, not what EA Sports uses. I gave my opinion based on how I'd look at the ratings.

This is asking about esports ratings, you said what you thought the they would be, @bsilk18 pointed out what it says on their website helping you, OP, and the other guy solve the mystery of what range a 2nd liner is!

Yes OP was asking for feedback on the ratings they put in (from my understanding anyways)

"I am going to show my player ratings for every team. I want to see what other people think so I can have the most perfect rating in nhl 20. That way nhl 20 for me can be very realistic. This also helps me learn more about each team. If you want to join you can. My ratings are probably all wrong so I want to learn. Here are my bruins player ratings"

Seems like they are more interested in the rating they think and not was EA sports says. If that is the case then EA sports rating system is irrelevant to the discussion, unless someone solely goes by that and doesn't have their own opinion. In the OP's case though that doesn't seem to be the case.

That’s not true. If “his own system” is being used for franchise mode, and it includes 4th liners being 90 - 93 and then everyone else higher, then by season 5 when the game starts creating rookies, nobody will make his nhl team because the best players will only ever his 90 overall.

So that’s why it is important to use nhl’a system.

In saying that: if he is JUST using it for a single game: then he can do whatever he wants (and OVERALL DOESNT MATTER)

I usually don't play until season 5. Anyway this is just for fun and really just to remind me player values.
