well the issue is that they need RHD equally as badly as we do, so by that logic, the only way that they'l trade their only good one is for a significant overpay (this is an underpay to begin with). Also Mikheyev might take that deal for one year, but definitely not for four

Anything involving bracco and Johnsson is never a good haul and you know this, that’s why these players are always being thrown in. Trade Kapanen and it’s somewhat fair. Not sure if that’s ducks needs though

Pretty good haul of things the Ducks don’t need

We already have too many LHD so no need for Dermott, we already have too many LW so we don’t need Johnsson and nobody need the career AHLer that is Jeremy Bracco

It's not looking like Bracco will be an NHL regular. He's an offensive guy that didn't score enough this year on the Marlies, and was a liability defensively.
Johnsson is getting undervalued if he gets traded because of his injury and because the cap likely won't be going up, and teams won't pay fair price for a 3rd liner who makes 3.4M
Dermott hasn't proved that he's anything better than a 3rd pairing D man and he's like 3 years in the league. He has upside, and I think he'll live up to it, but he's not worth it for them.
Lastly, as I said, they also need RHD, so, whether its worth it or not (I don't think it is), he'll cost liljegren at least.

Leafs should just move bracco for another AHL player. Bracco may have a chance on another team to reach the NHL

Usually helps to consider if the trade helps the other team, not just make a trade that might be close value.

Well I understand why the Ducks don't do the trade, but why do the Leafs? First it's 20 man roster with no cap remaining. That ain't happening.
And really Manson isn't that special anymore for his two years remaining. Leaf would be much better trading Johnsson for futures (yea not much) Dermot for futures and then have that money to sign a UFA. Or really trade Johnsson, and then you have 4.1m for Dermot and another player.
Please stop putting Bracco in a any trade post....well maybe Marlies to the another AHL team.

i'm a big fan of the idea of a Bracco for Ho-Sang trade. Both teams get high skill guys who haven't been able to put it together. Both Guys get a change of scenery
