Just a hunch, but I can see DS coming up with about 6.5Million reasons spread out widely over a disgustingly long, seven-year time-frame to say no to the NYR...

no way in hell boston trades a 23 year old guy who's already got a career high goals just 1 short of Kreider's for 29 year old Kreider.
