I get nervous with Murray. I know he has won two Cups, but I always felt he was a touch over-rated. Just a matter of personal opinion. He always seems to be hurt, and he was actually mediocre-bordering on-awful in the last two playoffs. Giving up Bean for him seems difficult when they could sign someone else who could perform more reliably and just a little more cost. I realize that Reimer/Mrazek do not inspire confidence, but I'd argue that the difference between Murray and Mrazek is nominal at best. If they want to win a Cup, they need better goaltending, not average. I'd go for Lehner or Holtby or Markstrom over Murray. Again, just my opinion. smile

Reimer is fine as a starter, dumping Mrazek for Stalock is just no. McGinn for Fedun is again no. Pulju is the only trade that makes sense, and it's not worth it. You've taken Svech off the SAT line, and dropped Necas to the 3rd line for someone who's not played in North America? WOW

Nice job. goaltending is definitely much better.
I do believe Dzingel is much better than Poolparty, but necessary since that was the move that got you under the cap.

You sure about that? He's been below average to well below average for the past 3 years.

Edmonton declines. They aren't trading Puljujarvi for a 3rd line winger rental who will further complicate their already difficult cap situation.

Nope! Not sure at all. HA! But, if he took a small contract to be a starter, maybe he's worth it.

The only way I can see him rebounding is if his starts were limited to about 40, so you're going to need a very good platoon-mate for him. It would have to be a small contract to make that work.

Agreed. He would actually do well with Mrazek, but again, under a limited contract.

I did the lines like that so you guys have three stacked lines. They aren't arranged by skill. Hurricanes were using the Staal line as #1 despite it not being the actual best line. Here you guys have three very good lines that make it difficult for other teams to play against.
