I think personally that Skinner needs to be put back on a line with Eichel

not totally opposed but i think Olofsson has a higher ceiling playing with Jack and i didnt want Skinner Eichs and Olofsson on same line because they're all shooters

For 9 million/year production shouldnt be dependent on playing with the best player on the team but unfortunately for Skinner (and the Sabres) that seems to be the case as we made the classic mistake of significantly overpaying a one dimensional winger based off a career year in a contract expiry season....

He isnt one dimensional and it wasn't a career year.

Too much for Brodin and Haula for 2C isn't a good option.
Certainly not a playoff team.

Skinner is definitely one dimensional and he did have a career year before signing his big deal.

Last year he had a career high in goals and tied his career high in points. Career high in SH%. Career high in TOI. Career high in FOs taken and FO%. His +/- of 0 was his best +/- since he was a +3 as a rookie.

He's 100% a shooting winger that doesn't contribute much if he's not shooting the puck.

His penalty differential is fantastic, he drives play, and again, he has had better seasons

i don't know if i'd say skinner drives play...when he's playing with someone like eichel he's waiting for him to do all the work so he can just finish the play by tapping it in. he seems to let others drive the entire play while he just waits on the side for the shot.

Jeff Skinner

2018-2019:Plays on line with Jack Eichel, in a contract year= career high in goals, 63 points

2019-2020: Plays on different line than Jack, already has his 72 million dollar contract = 23 points

lol

and his former team gave him away for cliff pu because he is a one dimensional player with many flaws in his game...
