Description

Would Pietrangelo sign for less? Would STL be looking to move their first or multiple picks or prospects to make space for their captain? Or would they rather move on from him all together (doubt)? Looking for some feedback. You'd have to figure that the guys listed in this trade are the odd men out. Probably more value in trading them individually.

Highly dependent on M-NTC and NTC on Bozak and Steen. Also, highly dependent on Melnyk not being cheap. Steen bought out by Ottawa and then STL signs him back a la Orpik.

Dunn has to be asking for an AAV that starts with a 4 on a short term deal.

Yep. I get that losing Petro would hurt... a lot... but that cap space could be used to sign Dunn long term and not create cap hell in 2021 when guys like Thomas, Binnington and some of the others need raises. The Faulk extension was very unfortunate, but luckily he can still be a good 2nd pair guy with Parayko taking over on the top pair.

Only if it's 1 or 2 years though. If it goes to 3 or up he's definitely asking for more.

Somewhere between Carlo and McAvoy bridge deals.

Ottawa makes that deal the Steen deal.

I'd guess they'd pass on retaining 2.275 mil on Anisimov.

My guess they would do Steen, 1st rd pick and Allen for Nilsson and Gaborik. StL saves 5 mil on Steen, 1.8 on goalie swap and gets to LTIR Gaborik. There's your money for Pietrangelo...
