Puljujarvi has higher upside for sure. And I think he's the better player now.

Personally I don't see how the Rangers get it done. Puljujarvi's reason for not going back to Edmonton was that he wanted 15 mins a night playing in the top 6 and they wouldn't commit to giving him that. He's SURELY not getting that in New York. So I'm not sure how this is going to work. Quinn basically never plays anyone under 23 in the top 6 even if they're the best option and we just saw him try to turn a massively gifted Finnish winger into essentially a dump and chase player. I don't see how Puljujarvi succeeds in New York without entirely changing his attitude and expectations. Ironically, his success in Liiga probably help to affirm his belief that he's right and NHL coaches would be stupid not to trust him in big minutes.

I can see Lias succeeding in Edmonton though.

Value wise it makes sense 1 for 1.
