I think The Peg should go big game hunting and go at Cirelli.

You'd have to dramatically overpay Anthony Cirelli for him to leave Tampa for Wiinnipeg, Probably in the 5 x 7m+ range Not sure why any GM would do that.

I would pay him 7x5 rather easily

Have the Jets tried Roslo at 2c yet because I think they should give him a chance before they make any moves

I doubt Vegas would be interested, but if y'all could bring Stastny back, that might be a good fit like it was in 18.

Otherwise, Jets should go after Cirelli if Tampa truly can't keep him, he's probably the best name up there

I wonder if Chevy would contemplate Wennberg. Hes fallen off but hes still young and a bounce back candidate, plus hes probably elite defensively among forwards. He will be cheap, and hes a super easy buyout if he doesnt work

Not with 3 years and 4.9 left on his contract IMO. Maybe if they get him for, like you said, cheap. Still that's a risk if he still sucks. But a buyout makes sense if he doesn't work out

Have you looked at the cap issues in Tampa? They'd have to trade 2 of Gourde, Palat, Johnson or Killorn and hope that Cirelli and Sergachev take discounts, which IMO they shouldn't. I think Tampa can make the deals to create the space, but all those guys have some sort of NTC and why would they wanna leave tampa?

they really haven't. Not a solid chance anyways. Roslovic has been good at RW and is learning the NHL C game, but Maurice loves C's with NHL games under their belt. I would love to see him get a shot

In the last two weeks I've heard two different Winnipeg based media guys who cover the Jets asked that if the NHL resumes the season do they think
Bryan Little would be a player for the Jets and they both think he will be.

I'd like Domi and think he'd be great between Ehlers and Laine but I doubt the Habs trade him so I think the only realistic option is signing Haula, they really need to draft a center this summer.

I think Tierney would be a decent option and the Jets desperately need some center depth but if the Sens were going to trade him it probably would've happened already so doubt he's really an option, if he does end up getting dealt I wonder what the return will be.

Maurice's biggest downfall is his risk averse tendencies and his love of dull, ****ty hockey players, his unwillingness to play Roslovic at center unless injures absolutely force him to is a real shame and blown opportunity.

Cirelli is the one to target IMO but he is also likely a target of Minnesota too.

Honesty will Have to see what we get in the draft if we get a high pick doubt it now but we need a UFa to fill the whole I don’t think we have a trade chip that improves this team enough to make it worth it.
