Granlund is not a center, should not make $6.5m and should not get 7 years

Harkins and Roslovic should move to Finland for the summer and skate with Laine and Ehlers every day

He played center in Minnesota before going to Nashville.

Read the Athletics take on him for an option for winnipeg, everyone in Nashville struggled to score last year. He was also pushed down the lineup after they signed Duchenne.

Has great possession numbers and kills penalties, prior to this year.
54 points in 71 games
67 points in 77 games
69 points in 81 games
44 in 82 games as a 23/24 year old and 44 and 39 points prior to that.

I'd say he's closer to a 60 point player then this one down season for Nashville, 6.5 probably will be a bargain. He'd be closer to 7.5 if he stayed in Minnesota playing center.

Look at his face-off stats - https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/g/granlmi01.html

He has not taken many faceoffs in the past 5 seasons and only really played center from the 2013 season to 2015 season. He just isn't a center anymore, and he was never a good center to begin with.

Many Wild fans on here have said Granlund hasn't played center in a very long time and when he did it didn't go good, doesn't sound like he's an option.

Trading Ehlers is a terrible idea, period.
