With Johnssons injury prone season this year I dont think Minissota will pay that for him (a 3rd that becomes a 2nd if he scores 15+ goals would probs be accepted)

The New Jersey trade is probs the price of Severson as he has 3 years left is on a reasonable cap hit and is a good 2 way Defenseman who could excel on the leafs.

As for the Winnipeg trade not sure on this one. I dont see them paying 2 2nd picks for dermott (maybe 2 3rds or just 1 2nd) but I just dont see them taking it.

Well, in my opinion, thinking Dermott wouldn't be an upgrade on two utter rookies is a clear error.

When you have an unsatisfying season, and then weaken the team in one functional area, I don't see how you can expect a better result.
