Both teams declined, Tampa Need cap and McElhinney would be another backup goalie which toronto needs more on defense than on goaltenders

So Andersen, who was just an all-star and is signed to one of the best tendy contracts in the league was bought out, they failed to qualify Dermott so he walked, Kerfoot was traded for someone we waived years ago, Mikheyev takes a 1m contract, and somehow Johnsson is untouched. Also intresting to note is that the goaltending actually gets more expensive when we buy Anderson out.

Edit: Also, Rosen>Sandin? Did I miss something? Sandin was almost a ppg in the AHL before having a great callup with 8 pts in less then 30 games getting 10 minutes a night. Furthermore, Rosen is 6 years older and has played half as many NHL games as Sandin did this year.... in the last 4 years combined.

Three things one Andersen has a worse statistics than Hutchinson, even if he is an allstar having a sub .900 is not acceptable. I mean we drove out Hutchinson for the same reason. Unless Andersen is able to recover from his struggles that this is even more crazy than my first one.
Second in almost every game since the allstar break Rasmus sandin would be benched for at least a full period. I also said have both players compete for the same D spot.
Third check out a leafs blockbuster offseason before this one. I when super crazy and hypothetical in that one where I fit both Taylor hall and Alexander pietrangelo and traded Mitchell marner + for cap space and signing rights. This is more realistic than that craziness. This doesn't make this the most accurate or reliable one and from now on I will just make these as topics for debate where someone takes them, tweak and or refine them to make them better.
