Yes.. it's unlikely. And yes, the threat of an offersheet exists.. but the player has to sign it, and most guys don't wanna leave Tampa.

It's not as easy as "trade Johnson, Gourde or Palat", these guys have full NTC, no chance they wanna leave the Lightning

With Yzerman and BriseBois still being pretty close and Paquette only having a cap hit of $1.65M for 1 year. I don't see why Detroit would say no.

This seems like the most accurate TB post for this summer I've seen in a while.
Except I doubt FLA gives us Montembeault.

Sergachev and Cirelli might get an OS for these salaries IMO

I can see 3 bridge deals but I cant see 3 2 year deals, at least 1 of them has to be 3-5. Cant have all 3 and point come up again in the same season. With only Palat and expansion coming off the books by then.

Also after next year Johnson's NTC becomes a 20 list. If he were smart he would waive now while he still has full control on his destination

You think this is accurate? I give the chances of the three RFA's signing these contracts at 1%. They would be straight up stupid and reckless to do so. Did no one see what Kevin Labanc did to himself?

A 2nd + 3rd is what I see Killorn returning this offseason given the flat cap.

I don't however think that the trio of RFA's would sign for less than half of what they are each worth, particularly given the large proportion of escrow in the next 1-2 years.

I was talking more about the trades and call-ups. Cernak and Cirelli would probably want more, but I can see Sergachev signing that

I really cant. If Im Serg why not ask for a nice old 8x7 payday, or at the least the 5x3 bridge.
