Hischier Isn’t that good.... they could get more for less

"mittelstadt could be a bust" if you put him on the second line. mitts isn't ready for that because the sabres stunted his growth by throwing him into the lineup at 2C when he should've been in the ahl/back at college. also the sabres deal is ridiculous, the sabres are just paying that much because he was the first overall selection not because he's worth that.

Mittelstadt isnt a bust? He’s just not very good. He’s 21 years old 114 games and 39 points.

Hischier Is also 21 but has 135 points in 209 games.

Hischier also hasn’t had his growth stunted or whatever excuse you want to use. He hasn’t played any AHL games just jumped right into the NHL. Hischier Imo isn’t great but he’s a lot better than CM. CM isn’t good at all. I’m a caps fan and I wouldn’t trade ELLER for him.

All that being said Cozen and a first is a lot to pay for Hischier. I personally don’t think he’s great. For all that I would just put all my eggs in the Cozen basket.
