I was gonna comment that Panthers fans were gonna attack you for proposing to move the team, but then I remembered that there are no Panthers fans

Ya they should move Arizona to Houston and Florida to Quebec and leave Hamilton a fallback plan. This also avoids conference realignment.

I think if they move, they move to Quebec, while a Houston expansion happens to make Houston the 32nd team

Edit: I now realize that Seattle is the 32nd team. Idk how I even messed that up but oh well. I guess then Houston is a likely candidate for a Arizona relocation

The 33rd actually, since there's already Seattle as the 32nd

Nah, we don't have the money for it. Building would be packed for the first 2 seasons, then the attendance would collapse in the next 3-4 seasons and the team would move within 10-12 years. During its time in the city the team would kill the Remparts' franchise and every other sport team in Quebec City. No thx

Quebec Could easily have a team and survive in the New NHL format. Quebec is in constantly growth they are now close to a millions people. City like Seattle, Buffalo, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Are very similar market and are viable in today Nhl format. Quebec would not generate a lot of revenu but at least the team would not be making losses years after years like Florida.

Canada's Trudeau Peso is worthless and it's going to remain worthless for quite some time, really can't see there being much of a business case for moving a team to Canada, not that it's flourishing in Florida but I just don't see any billionaire wanting to take the risk on moving an NHL team to Canada.

Quebecor? They have openly expressed that they want to. They were even pressing hard for the nhl to give them a chance for expansion

I would say Quebec. They got a stadium ready for an NHL team, they got a fan-base wanting a team, and they got 4 Billionaires with organizations ready to invest. If Panthers struggle I see them gone by 2025

The Panthers arena is in a really bad location in FLA. I've been to a couple games there when visiting my in-laws. Put them in the same area as the MLB, NBA, or NFL stadiums and they would have better attendance.

Didn't really think about that, but it's the most ideal option. Arizona (or rather Houston) wouldn't shag scheduling in the Central and Miami/Quebec are in the same time zone.
