That late 1st and 2nd is what it would cost to acquire domi alone - vlasic at 3.5 for the next 7 years is still brutal.

Not if he finds his game again. He can still skate really well.

That’s a huge risk - it’s unlikely he finds his game again at 33

I disagree. The team as a whole was terrible last year. Sending Vlasic to his hometown would probably be good for him mentally. Usually when guy decline they lose their feet first but Vlasic is still an excellent skater. He lost his long-time partner this season (Braun) and was forced to play with Karlsson who he couldn’t cover for all his mistakes (which were plenty) with the right partner I think Vlasic has a good chance of reclaiming his game.

I don't think Vlasic likes his hometown media. He even made fun of them on twitter when a reporter wrote an article about Vlasic buying a house in Quebec.

Would rather not spend 2.2 on Nieto, would rather get another top six forward in here and move Leonard to the third.

Vlasic hates media in general, his post game interviews are full of snark and sarcasm.

Would be better just to move Domi to LW, Hertl back to C and Labanc up to the 2nd line.

I’ll take the high road and I’ll wait for the leagues apology in the morning.

      Absolutely savage.

That was a BS call too. Pretty much lost us that game.
