Jost's 0.35ppg makes him the 9th highest scoring 10th overall pick since 1996. At 22 years old he still has plenty of room to improve, and if he even sees a moderate bump to 0.5ppg he'd be the 5th best 10th overall pick in terms of scoring since 1996. Needless to say, he's NOT a bust.

That's a horrible trade for Colorado. You'd be lucky if you got anything more than Jost straight up for Killorn. Expect a 2nd + 3rd sort of return.

You also underpaid Nichuskin by about $1m.

He is only 22 and a solid 3C. I could see him being C/LW in the future for sure.

Graves is a pretty big piece. He is 1st pairing in COL and by being good defensively he lets Makar do his thing in the Ozone. Even if he should only be a 2LHD, his synergy with Makar makes him more important. Same thing as Holl in Toronto and Chiarot in Montreal.

No he’s not, he’s an nhler and one of the more productive forwards in his draft class. That’s the furthest thing from a bust.

There are actual busts in his draft class,

Vasilevskiy is arguably the best goalie in the league. If he's traded, which is unlikely, it'll be for more than that

Yeah you can probably get more for Vasilevskiy but that is way more than Detroit can give up. Starting next season $9.5M for the next 8 seasons. Even though the trade is slanted towards Detroit they still pass.

Every COL ACGM is trading him! Why? CF% is negative every year, FF% is negative every year, FO% 36.0% for his career. 208gp only 72pts. Doesn't play on PK.
