It’s definitely possible considering his height, but Rossi getting to 7th would be an insane steal. He’s the third best player in this class imo.

I have him 5th, but I truly don't think his height is something to worry about at all. He's an absolute specimen. He's probably one of the most physically ready players in the draft.

He rocks, do you have Stützle and Raymond ahead?

Yeah. I think they are both a meaningful step above Rossi in terms of offensive ability, but Rossi is such a complete player.

Rossi is the guy we need imo but don't think he gets there and I can't remember a trade up in the top 10.

He's 4th for me, but I think he's very close with Stutzle and Byfield. I have them all in the same tier (probably not a popular opinion).

Same, they’re all pretty close. I still have Byfield second because he’s sick, but I don’t think he’s the offensive genius that everyone thinks he is.

6th-8th. I flip-flop between Ranking Perfetti, Drysdale and Holtz. If you asked me today I'd say Perfetti-Drysdale-Holtz.

I love Rossi. But I also hope he's not rushed into the league. The Sabres did well to give Cozens a year, wouldn't hurt if they do the same with Rossi.

    They definitely rushed Mittelstadt IMO

Heard he could go to the NLA which should be great. He’ll be a top player but face real competition and get to go play at the world juniors. Also there’s plenty of time for training and development because travel time in Switzerland is small. Would be sick if he went to Davos and teamed up with Ben Baumgartner who I also have in my top-100

That would be, he's definitely too good for the OHL. Also wonder as a Euro, if the option exists for him to play in the AHL next season

I’m not sure, but I saw somewhere that it’s either NHL or Europe for a year for him.

he’s only at 2C to start the season. if he’s not producing at 2C then cozens will shift over to center and play 2C.

https://www.draftsite.com/nhl/mock-draft/2020/ Drysdale 4th, Rossi 6th with Ottawa having 2 picks before Buffalo anything is possible.
    https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2893250-2020-nhl-mock-draft-latest-predictions-for-under-the-radar-prospects :
    1. Detroit Red Wings: Alexis Lafreniere, LW, Rimouski (QMJHL)
    2. Ottawa Senators: Quinton Byfield, C, Sudbury (OHL)
    3. Ottawa Senators (via San Jose Sharks): Tim Stutzle, C/LW, Adler Mannheim (DNL U20)
    4. Los Angeles Kings: Jamie Drysdale, RHD, Erie (OHL)
    5. Anaheim Ducks: Marco Rossi, C, Ottawa (OHL)
    6. New Jersey Devils: Alexander Holtz, RW, Djurgardens (SHL)
    7. Buffalo Sabres: Cole Perfetti, C/LW, Saginaw (OHL)
    8. Montreal Canadiens: Lucas Raymond, RW, Frolunda (SHL)
    9. Chicago Blackhawks: Yaroslav Askarov, G, SKA-Neva (VHL)
    10. New Jersey Devils (via Arizona Coyotes): Anton Lundell, C, HIFK (Liiga)

    http://www.mynhldraft.com/NHL-Mock-Draft/
    1 Alexis Lafreniere
    2 Quinton Byfield

    6 Jamie Drysdale
    7 Alexander Holtz
    8 Jake Sanderson

IMO both Rossi and Drysdale will be gone before Buffalo picks. But who knows, we can only hope.

Cozens playing 2C should happen when, and only when,
he’s developed to the point where he’s ready

Shouldn’t be based on Copp not being a good fit there
    He’s not

We’ve made too many mistakes like this over the past few years, haven’t we?

No more putting young talent at 2C before we are ready
No more asking guys to play there when they don’t belong

That’s not how u set up a player (or team) for success
