More like what's the point in any of these moves? Sens aren't going to be competitive for a few more years so the Hischier trade is just a dumb move. Especially with the good chance of drafting Byfield and with all their centers in the system.

Ottawa is doing a good job with their rebuild. Good prospectpool, a couple of very early 1sts this year and they give their prospects time to develop. These FA signings to try and rush things is just dumb
