You've missed a team here, 30 players but 31 teams, Vegas I think

Slavin isn't Carolina's best contract, that would be Teravainen

Great example of why you should get your stars signed before they get to RFA. go to RFA with young depth guys and inconsistent stars, but if you have a sure thing on an ELC, get term the year before

Any of them is a fine choice

Slavin and Pesce are beasts, but a PPG player for 5.4 mil? That's easily the best on the team imo

With the season almost over, contracts for Duclair, Labanc, Greiss, Mueller aren't really " best contracts since they have no term. A year ago, Labanc would work but now... Chabot for OTT maybe, as @Claesson4Norris said, Gusev/Butcher for NJ, Hertl for SJ, Pelech? for NYI and Theodore/Marchessault for VGK.

IMO Pesce and Slavin are equally as good defensively as Teuvo is offensively, so thats why I say equal.

That goes without saying, but Teuvo's defence is sublime, and it's easily better than either Slavin's or Pesce's offence. It really is that good, which is why I'd say TT is the best conract

I wouldn't say Greiss is the best. Pulock at 2m$ is definitely better

Toews , pulock, beauvillier , pelech, are all better than Greiss contract.
