No one is arguing Willian Nylander is worse than Kasperi Kapanen.... wait you mean Alex? Bold take.... we'll see....

Yeah, except you take away our only defensive RHD and a potential top 6 winger for a max potential middle six winger. Chicago is not in a position where they need Kap to compete for a cup, In theory, Toronto needs Murphy on their right side much more than we need Kapanen in our top 9.

well one of them is a 1st liner and the other looks more like a 4th liner so it would be weird to put them together. It would be like putting Jared staal on the same line as Eric Staal

I get that concept dont worry, but its not nessesarily true. Alex is a fantastic young player who has just not found his stride yet. Jaret Stall was just the brother who didnt get the talent lol
Give Alex the chance to play with his brother, and he can definitely do some 2nd line minutes

Bowman still the GM? Then it's probably Murphy for Kapenen and A Nylander for Duzak

i love this stuff. Your guy who is a potential top 6 winger and Kapanen is a max potential middle 6 winger. What a wonderful use of language. I mean, it's not like Kapanen is already a very good 3rd line winger at the floor and has shown that he can easily be a 2nd line winger for significant stretches and Alex has shown that he may one day be a 3rd line winger!

Kapanen has already shown what he is going to show, Nylander has the potential to be a star. The trade is not worth it one for one.

Funny thing about all these Murphy Kapannen posts....The bias is obvious. Murphy somehow keeps getting on the TOP PAIR defensively...so TOR 100% knows Murphy's value... But Hawks fans view KK as a 3rd line winger.... SO..... I hope well all learned a valuable lesson here.

Rn 5 teams have been in on Kapenan

1. Calgary
2. Carolina
3. Pittsburgh
4. Edmonton
5. New Jersey

out of those 5 I could see New Jersey, Carolina, and especially Calgary having the best shot.
