Bjork is younger, faster, cheaper (est. US$1.25M to 1.5M to resign) and has really good upside left in his game. Bruins do not need to get older especially for US$3M-per UFA C Smith to have him play 3rd line role.
AB alone in a trade likely gets a 3rd-4th in return...

The RFAs deals work (Cehlarik is gone).
Half (Miller, Smith, Boyle) UFAs signings are not needed. Signing Smith will block Studnicka/Senyshyn/Kuhlman from a spot in the lineup. For PRO, maybe a forward if Cehlarik/Studnicka/Gaunce are all gone, an RD but not G (Boyle) since we have three prospects.
Hopefully Krug re-signs for a bit lower but it's good otherwise.

The trade is the problem. Better to keep Moore as 7th/8th D or even bury him rather than give up a guy like Anders Bjork.

The trade is pure insanity. The contracts are mostly okay.
