I do not want an aging Henrique at that AAV! He also wouldn't waive his NTC anyways. Also why get rid of Lowry? He's the exact type of player Winnipeg needs in their bottom 6.

I see now that it's a modified NTC...chances are Winnipeg is still on that NTC list.

Can you explain to me what is so great about Lowry? I think he’s what brings our bottom 6 down. His line hardly ever produces. Yeah I know they play against the other teams top lines, but they just seem to waste time. @MisstheWhalers xan explain more

I honestly love Lowry. Ideally, he would be our 4th line centre though. Winnipeg just doesn't have any similar player who brings physicality in a shut down role. I don't think he has to produce crazy offensive numbers to be effective, we have tons of other players in our top 6 for that. Also, don't get me wrong, I don't think he's some crazy special talent lol, I just think he brings a lot to the table that the Jets lack. His numbers also aren't too bad for a middle 6 player in my opinion.

Lowry was VERY GOOD 2 years ago but last year he was ok and this year he was bad, it all depends but I think keeping him as a fourth line center for one more year, then replacing him with Gustafsson would be the best way to go.

Lowry has never been very good, he's always been a 4th line player getting far too many minutes effectively sinking the other 5 bottom 6 players.

The Jets have had multiple replacements for Lowry for years but they have a head coach that's stuck in a 1996 way of thinking unfortunately hence nothing changes even though the pieces are there to use.

If the Jets either replace Lowry whether internally or externally years ago they'd likely of gotten average 3rd line production and no one is even discussing if Little is a 2C or not.

Take a look at some other middle 6 players numbers around the league, Lowry's are pathetic in comparison, he's a 4th line player at best and is in no way a middle 6 player, just cause Maurice plays him at 3C doesn't make Lowry at middle 6 talent.

Lowry was legit one of the best shutdown center in the league 2 years ago. he was no where near that this year. So I see us sticking with him for one more season at 4C then letting Gustafsson take over after that

Schief roso copp guss seems reasonable I’m also not a little hater. If he can stay healthy put up 50 60 no reason ehlers and laine can’t carry a line

When, in 17-18? His best statistical season but he missed roughly half the season which was the Jets best season? I don't think that's a coincidence, oh and then he has a whopping 2 assists in 17 playoff games and was a -4, whatever he was shutting down didn't work, like I said all Lowry shuts down is any offense from the Jets bottom 6, the guy is massively overrated.
