I'd rather have Zucc than Turris. Turris looked so slow every time I saw him this year. I sure don't want Fiala and Kaprizov with him.

I'll take Domi, Strome, or any of the other centers I rag on any day over Turris. Heck I'd rather just use Rask, Chucky, Kunin, or Donato as a center over Turris.

$8M AAV is a lot for Cirelli, I think even $7M AAV like I have here is a lot for him...

Not sure what you saw then, Turris has been a solid skater throughout his career.

This is definitely a massive gamble. 7 million is a lot but for a player like him, it could be worth the risk. You did a great job with the price though in terms of Tampa having to match it. There’s no way Tampa matches that

Now for the Zuccarello deal, I think you would regret that instantly. Zuccarello had one down season. He’s already a candidate to bounce back for next season. You are essentially trading a player who had one down year for another player who hasn’t been the same the past few seasons.

If he continues to struggle, then you start thinking about shopping him. Right now you are pulling the plug way too early on trading him

Yep its a huge risk but we don't really have a choice, we need to figure something out at center and anything that we can realistically pull off is risky.

As for Zucc, I have zero issues with him as a player, he's a fantastic passer. Problem is his game just did not fit at all for us. Maybe that changes under a new coach.

This is interesting.

Few things I'd change though.

Trade Dubnyk for whatever you can get.
And trade Hartman or Donato with assets (Lodina) to land another top 6 FW and slot down Kunin.
