Agreed I just don’t want the Pens ACGM’s dropping in and getting jammed.

I see a lot more trades with Murray than I do with Jarry and I'm talking ones done by Pittsburgh fans. They are the same age do they really trade Murray over Jarry?

If it were up to me I’d keep Murray but I think the combination of Jarry making substantially less and the fact that the fans hate Murray will lead the Penguins to keep Jarry.

that is so wrong.... this deal is still better for detroit big time! murray gets us a first rounder (in the 20s) plus an A-/B+ prospect if you add jj you still need to give us a 2nd plus a B prospect

and jj would still help the wings, you guys have no D, and also add some experience and leadership

You are going to have to pay for someone to take JJ. If you want more for Murray it won't from Detroit over the past 4 seasons Murray is ranked in the 30's in SV% and GAA.

Why would you hand Rutta any more than league minimum?
He's played 30 some games the last two years.

back to back cups...this only is enough to show how you are underestimating murray. I did pay to give you jj, i downgraded the pick and the prospect level from the initial trade that i proposed...plus i'm not so sure jj wouldn't be a good Dmen for you considering your defense is BAD. Either way i'd still keep murray he is great in the playoffs...really don't mind to lose a few more games during the regular season but keep winning cups... and jarry has still to prove himself in the playoffs.... plus i'm pretty sure that GMJR could easily get a huge value back for TJ from so many teams that are desperate and
need goalies.
and if detroit wants to start winning a game or two you guys DESPERATELY need a goalie.

I’d say 5 years at $5.5-$5.85M AAV

Ok but there are over 30 goalies that had better GAA and SV% over the last 4yrs so if Detroit was going to over pay a to acquire goalie why not one of them?

I was just going with a raise off of his current cap hit but that’s awesome if he takes less. I think he’d be a solid 1-2 year option until Will Reilly is ready to replace him.

Then you better hold on to him because Detroit isn't going to take him at that outrageous price. 3rd and JJ is as high as Detroit will go.

Reily is probably never replacing him. Some blogger writes about him does not mean he's good. He couldn't even get into a real NCAA hockey school.
His odds of getting into the NHL are even less.
