There should be a first coming back in the trade. Tatar could walk to free agency.
Demelo will get more money. 3-3.5mil range

Kane is definitely better. He is also Matthews inspirational player

MTL have to accept, losing both Domi and Tatar hurts AF, but getting Connor long term is really good, conditionnal 2nd rd pick that turns into a 1st if Tatar extend with Winnipeg

Matthews might pass him by all said and done, but Kane is better so far. It's good those two are friendly, during the last couple all star weekends they spent time together which was part of the jabs during that Hawks Leafs game when Kane scored, then Matthews scored and imitated Kane, then Kane scores again and smiles at Matthews on the bench. Absolutely epic to see as a fan. That's the way the game should be played in friendly taunting.

Connor isnt going anywhere, don’t understand all the trades of connor all of a sudden. Jets don’t want an old Tatar and a questionable expensive Center in domi

I don't think that's enough in terms of prying Connor out of Winnipeg. Connor has slightly more value than Tatar and Domi in terms of contract. Tatar signing an extension might make them consider the trade but Connor is already locked on a good LT contract. Plus, this could also put on cap issue because they might have trouble to resign Laine due to upcoming contracts of Domi and Tatar.

I'd really like Domi on the Jets and am a big fan of Tatar but this isn't good for the Jets.

That's just untrue. People should learn how express an opinion honestly. That being said, Jets decline such a deal for a few reasons and the biggest being the contract situation of both Domi and Tatar.

Tatar was a cap dump from Vegas a year or two ago, and domi s best position is a question mark at this point. Which of these players are the jets getting and the jets are giving up a long term piece for those question marks. Not sure where I miss spoke.

You said that Tatar was old. It is not true. So, if you bring an argument, at least it has to be true. He is 29 years old, which is prime time for most hockey player, including Tatar. Obviously, like I said Jets want to keep Connor and they don't make that trade. But there are many valid points to be made for that. No need to create ones.

29 is old if your talking a convincing piece in a trade or a longterm contract. His value and current playing level is probably limited to 2/3 seasons at best and anything over that term could turn into a lousy contract. He’s basically a season or two away from a training camp tryout anywhere other than a known commodity in Montreal. Like wpg sending pearrault and copp for kotaniemi

I don’t understand people saying : Domi best position is a question mark. He’s way better at center than winger, big time. The reason we are trading Domi it’s because we have Danault Suzuki Kotkaniemi

And how does that line up against any past cup winning teams, absolutely physically dominated by blues and caps. Probably can’t get out of the division with that list

He just had his best season at an almost PPG rate and he is soon to be a try out player? Come on. And your comparison is shaky.

All I know is through certain points of last few seasons for the jets, connor or laine get hot and basically carries the team on there shoulders, and both being 22/23, going to take a lot to get either
