Matthews ahead of Eichel in the C column and we're good at C. Svech over Connor. Chabot over Provorov, at least. Dougie should be just below makar, with fox behind him. Also where's Quinn Hughes? Better than Provorov

I missed Hughes 🤦🏼‍♂️ contract and leadership came into my values so Matthews was slightly lower, + the bias right. I meant to have Chabot 3. I think McAcoy is better, he also has been to a Stanley Cup and played with Chara for a long time. But I'll move Ekblad to 5

I'd personally take Laine over both Ehlers and Connor but that's just me.

Ehlers is a RW...but on the LW side where? 4th and bump Brady off? Or maybe switch him for Connor? I like him but feel like Brady will be better, and Connor. Idk I don't watch a lot of central games ..so you let me know what you see in Laine? I see potential just he seem to falter in effort.

Yea, he's 26 or 27. I could probably put him over Ehlers... That would make some sense... The list is just way younger than him other than Kucherov, so more valuable long term

I see elite scorer developing slowly into one of the best wingers in the league. His two-way game has made great development from what it was before, and he has started to play more for the team instead of himself.

Not to mention he's in pace for 70 points with Copp as his center...

I'd put him above Svechnikov...maybe drop Connor of the list.

Alright! Thanks for your feedback, I will switch it. I'll probably make a second team so Connor will be #1 on that team🤷🏼‍♂️

Where's Draisaitl? He's better than both Eichel and Matthew's and is on a better contract too. Very much a leader personality too - moreso than McDavid IMO.

PANARIN?!?! lmao he had one good year and you think he'll have value? He'll be making 11.6 mil until he's 35, I don't think he'll be of value to them at all.

Draisaitl is 7th on my centers list, after Barkov and this list, Leadership came into play alot less than talent, more in consideration of very close players...or older talent vs younger...example crosby

He's the MVP of the league, and is one of the only wingers in the league who drives their line, matter how good the team is, he's the brwadman and he brings the bread and energy to teams. Worth the pick

I mean kuch and stone are on identical contracts and are 1 year apart, and both are top 4 right wingers

What's your excuse for having Draisaitl 7th on talent?!

Look back four years and you'll see he's a top player in the league:

1. McDavid: 306, 146-275-421
2. Kucherov: 304, 153-245-398
3. DRAISAITL: 313, 147-215-362
.
.
6. MacKinnon: 307, 131-211-342
.
.
9. Crosby: 277, 124-201-325
.
11. Malkin: 263, 121-195-316
.
.
14. Scheifele: 292, 122-177-299
.
.
.
18. Barkov: 288, 103-185-288
19. Matthews: 282, 158-127-285
.
.
.
23. Eichel: 273, 113-168-281

Even if you're predisposed towards recency bias (which all of us are), you could look at the past 2 years:

1. DRAISAITL: 153, 93-122-215
2. McDavid: 142, 75-138-213
3. Kucherov: 150, 74-139-213
4. Kane: 151, 77-117-194
5. MacKinnon: 151, 76-116-192
.
.
.
.
.
.
12. Eichel: 145, 64-96-160
13. Barkov: 148, 55-103-158
14. Scheifele: 153, 67-90-157
.
.
17. Point: 145, 66-90-156
.
19. Matthews: 138, 84-69-153

Draisaitl has more goals and more assists than both Matthews and Eichel over the past 2 years. Only Ovechkin has scored more goals in this timeframe (99) and nobody has more points.

Either your personal perspective is a LOT more biased than you're prepared to admit or you're a piss-poor talent evaluator.

By that logic Svechnikov and Forsberg are the best players in the NHL since they're the only ones that have been able to pull that.

Svech has skill, but imo Laine is better overall.

How? Laine is known for being a one-trick pony. He doesn't defend, his transitions are average at best, he's got an elite shot, but so does Svech. Svech is good defensively and getting better, his transitions are nuts... I'm not just saying this as a Canes fan, I'm saying this as an analytical head, why do you think Laine is better overall, where is he better than Svech?
