Doubt they're trading Reinhart for a package without a 1st. Stastny is essentially a cap dump with a bit of value, especially to Buffalo. Tuch is a nice piece but not a true 1RW. Change one of the 2nds to a 1st (probably NJD) and looks about right.

Signing Anas to the league minimum is a smart move but that could also be a hole down the middle if one of the other guys gets hurt.

They have Mittelstadt and Cozens if theirs an injury, they can use that as a prove it scenario

The organization reportedly values him a lot. So it's not gonna be a 2nd next year that gets him. They can keep him and Shesterkin in the Expansion Draft, as long as they expose Hank or some other goalie. Next year's the last year of his deal so.

lol he's going to cost like 2 mil. Not for sale for less than a 1st. That should be clear after the Rangers keeping him past the deadline.

I wish he was worse, he'd be easier to get rid of. But alas lol.

Here are the top 10 goalies in hockey over the last 2 seasons...

The last 4 goalies under 27 to be top 10 in the league in GSAx over a 2 season span were Phillipp Grubauer, Frederik Andersen, Martin Jones and Cory Schneider. You might notice the theme where all of them got at least a 1st or equivalent value. Now realize that Georgiev is 2 years younger and thus 2 years more cost controlled than all of the above and yeah....he's not going anywhere for less than a 1st. I could understand why Buff would want him though, both of Buffalo's goalies have a GSAx under -20. Having a goalie like Georigev would put Buffalo in the playoffs this year.

According to Capfriendly's own tool, you can only protect one goalie.
Unless Georgiev played 2C as well he aint taking them to the playoffs. The Sabres biggest need is scoring depth, Ullmark is fine enough till (if) UPL comes. They need to replace Hutton. Unless NYR clears out some cap, it will be easy for other teams to pressure NYR out of him, they can offer sheet him for anywhere between $2,113,717-$4,227,437 and this will cost a 2021 2nd, if the Rangers match they now have 3 goalies and the rest of their RFAs to sign, leaving about 10 mill for Strome, DeAngelo, Lemieux, and to fill out the roster. Even if they trade 1 or 2 of them, they still have to replace those players and that production with the same budget. The teams that want in on him also wont want to give up a first. So you can put up all the fancy stats, the problem lies in the budget. From what I've heard the Sharks can have him for a 2nd at anytime this offseason.

Players who are still point producing, two way veteran centers who show up in the playoffs are not anywhere near cap dumps. The takes you hear online.

Not a cap dump but Vegas gets more and consistent production from Reinhart and still save about 4 mill

I definitely think Reinhart is definitely the more valuable player, only saying Stastny is still a good top 6 center and far from a cap dump.
