Not really realistic when all three of those UFAs could easily get more and likely will

I'm running a 24 man roster with 500k excess cap. If I need to distribute the 1.1M to them, I can. I do think Tanev and Markstrom might take slight discounts to extend here. Toffoli might not

Anaheim trade has merit to it if you take out Larsson or add a 2nd. Apparently they've said they will take on cap dumps if short term. The rest seems pretty unrealistic

why would they take out larsson... the whole point of the move is that they need to rotate one of their LHD excess guys for a RHD. Larsson is worth less than Stecher by a fair distance. Sven only has negative value about that of a 5th/4th. That should balance it.

Why is Larsson worth significantly less then Stetcher? Stetcher is a 3rd pair guy that can occasionally play 2nd pair, he's about on par with Ana's current #4 Gudbranson. Larsson is 3 years younger and is solidifying himself as at least the same caliber player. They don't need to swap him for a RHD thats such an oldschool way of thinking, just move him or someone else to the right side

ducks have mahura, guhle, djoos and mahura all going after ONE SPOT. They need to move some. pretty sure none of them did that good on the right side. Ducks fans have made it clear that they need a similar asset on the right side. Stecher is older, but he also fills the spot they need well. And no, you're incorrect in saying he is on par with Gudbranson. He was always above him in every category on the Canucks. Though Erik has been decent on the Ducks, he is better suited on their third pair.

Larsson is a career bottom pair guy and Ducks fans have made it clear that he has the least upside of any of the guys fighting for that spot... about the value of a high third. Stecher carries about the value of a mid 2nd. That difference is absorbed by the Baertschi contract that is often made to look a lot worse than it really is.

How about we just ask a ducks fan, I find it pretty hard to not see your POV as biased.
