Lol I thought you meant Patrick Kane.

Anyways likely no CBO and big overpay for Kane.

Pens are win now, think if cap is flat there has to be a CBO

Nope. No CBO unless cap goes down according to most insiders.

Also Jarry gets more if you look at comparables (Elvis).

Thats a pretty fair offer in value but if we trade Kane we dont need Murray as we will be tanking so would rather get a first with it.

Kane is most certainly not worth that. Sharks got Kane for a first. No way his value has increased with this huge contract

Um what. Hes worth his contract. Hes a 30 goal 60 point winger, 7mil is market value, also the deal is up at 33 so not like hes old or anything. Its a very resonable contract for what he provides, just look at what Kreider just signed and its going to last until hes much older.

Elvis not really a comp on a two year. Elvis' contract takes him into UFA years, a two year for Jarry just takes him to it. Also, pro sample for Elvis has been much better at WC internationally and NLA which is a great league.

You can argue he gets a bit less like 3.5M but not 2.75M hard to justify that low a pricetag.

It’s not a bad contract, but Kane is not worth that package suggested by this armchair. Not even close. Like I said, if Kane was traded for only a conditional first 2 years ago his value certainly hasn’t went up

Don't want and don't need Kane.
    This team has enough LW.

Value as a UFA different than on a long term fair deal

That’s still an overpay and like @pharrow said we don’t need more LWers

Agree to disagree, Kane is everything you hope Poulin turns into one day and I think they try Zucker at RW

I would consider trading Poulin for him but not Murray too. Poulin and another lesser piece
