Even if he's for virtually free, I don't think Montreal wants a middle 6 winger on the wrong age of 30 that's massively overpaid.

Yeah which is why I think it would be the best time for Tampa to trade him, but I don't see Montreal having any interest for the reasons I listed and the fact that we also don't need a middle 6 winger.

Except they overpaid or made big swings for Max Domi, Drouin and Tatar. Mtl would do this. Ask Suzuki and Sergachev.

Big swings for Max Domi?

Galchenyuk : 131GP 27 G 38 A 65 P
Domi : 153 GP 45 G 71 A 116P

Drouin one is far, but both are young players and the jury is still out on that trade.

Tatar 148 GP 47 G 72 A 119 P
Suzuki 71 GP 13 G 28 A 41 P
+ Mattias Norlinder and Jacob Leguerrier

Pacioretty 137 GP 54 G 52 A 104 P

Montreal easily won 2/3 of those trades and the jury is still out on the 3rd one. I fail to see what you are trying to point out.

Big swings mean risky trades. Doesn't mean they were all mistakes. I don't know wtf you think one years stats are gonna do to make me think differently about a trade. That only applies to rentals.

One year stats? What are you talking about. You think Vegas or Arizona won the Galchenyuk/Pacioretty trades?

I would rather jump off a cliff than have Max Domi on my team for starters.

Goes beyond stats though.

Yeah exactly, goes beyond stats. He plays a grindy game, stands up for his teammates and is a great charismatic guy.

Lol it's exactly because he's an awful guy and has locker room issues (and moral ones) that I would never have him. But you don't get all that info sometimes.

So where do you get your info that he's an awful guy and has locker room issues?

If I post a bunch of stuff (first I'd have to find it again but w/e) That would be poor etiquette. And if I don't you're gonna say, I'm making it up or something. So lets just disagree and move on. Mtl makes big trades and consequences are secondary often win or lose. This is a fact.

Well if you don't then in my mind you are making up ****, and this entire conversation was a waste of time for both of us. Not that is matters to you or should, but it hurts your rep on here when you say things like that.

As I said. But I'm not even 1% worried about what you think of my rep. I said I don't want Domi on my team. If you decide that makes things a waste then don't respond anymore. It's weird how the people who have their team in their name have the most trouble being unbiased. Almost like there's a connection.

Calls me bias, I throw a bunch of facts and you reply with your bias opinion and 0 facts to back up your opinion. Not sure why you are a habs hater. Sorry for whatever we did to your team frown

Buddy calls Domi a terrible person and locker room guy and has 0 facts to back it up because he can't come to senses that I'm right. Go ahead and call me bias, but you have nothing that backs up that claim. It means nothing to me.

I don't hate the Habs. I hate Domi for what he's done and said. All my facts are with trades. You're blocking that out and focusing on this point. You do you. I'm gonna try to ignore you going forward if possible. If I don't respond to future comments, note that it's because I don't value your opinion. Nor should I.

Domi was easy win for MTL
Drouin, well...
Tatar was an amazing trade for MTL because now Tatar = Pacioretty, PLUS we have Suzuki, Norlinder and LeGuerrier

I never said Mtl couldn't make good trades. I said they make risky trades and big swings. I don't know what is in the translation but apparently risky means "always bad come fight me lets throw hands **** Mtl"

No chance. This would be fine if Killorn has a year left, but his contract is bad, and we can’t afford him beyond next season.
