Giving up Jarry to move Johnson is not necessary.

Yeah it’s honestly just me being an idiot but I know you think they won’t keep both goalies so which one do you move and what would the trade look like?

I move Murray. 1 big piece and one small piece. Offersheet compensation for someone signing him would most likely be a 1st and a 3rd. Outside chance of it being 1st, 2nd and 3rd if someone goes crazy. Offersheets don't really happen, but that is the value, so I would expect trade value to be comparable level.

For the big piece... I think that #21-31 picks would be in play. Middle 6 forward or 2nd pair D. Hi level prospect.

The smaller piece would be depth player, mid prospect, or a 3rd round pick or such.

It would all depend on the team. If the team is bad and has a top 5 or top 10 pick, I would not expect the pick to be on the move. More towards a player being the big asset. If the team is better and their 1st is #24, then it is possible for the pick to be the big piece. Or, a top 5 pick team, maybe go with two 2nds and a 3rd. Two #35ish picks and a #65ish.

I wouldn't expect anything ground breaking, but he wouldn't be a fire sale either. Comparable to the RFA compensation..

I have no idea what Buffalo’s goalie situation is but Jokiharju and a 3rd would be the perfect return.

I don't see a point in that Mete trade. I'd rather just hold onto Mete.
