I don't think the teams that lose the play in are part of the draft lottery. Pretty sure it's just the 7 that are out.

Edit: Turns out I'm wrong, but I don't see how this works. The lottery will be held on the 26th of June, so does that mean the play in will be done by then?

Why would there be a 2nd draft lottery? Do you have a link to where you are getting this information, by chance?

Confusing the the NHL wants the circus for viewers. Draft lottery 1, Playoff play ins, draft lottery #2, playoffs, draft and the FA frenzy to top it off. NHL wants to milk as much out of it all as possible

I believe the NBA will start before the NHL. if The NBA is a disaster and COVID spreads its likely the NHL will cancel the season
