The only contracts that have been negotiated by Lou were Lee, Nelson, Eberle, Komarov, and Varlomov. (soon Barzal, Pulock, and Toews, and Martin). The other contracts were negotiated by Garth Snow.

It’s the komarov, ladd, and clutter contracts that are killers.

If the Islanders pick is in the top 3, then the Islanders keep it and give the Sens their 2021 1st. The highest the pick can be (not winning the lottery) is 15.

Only islanders fans know how valuable these players are to a team. Just because they aren’t scoring a point per game doesn’t mean that they’re bad. Nelson, Toews, and Pulock are sooooo underrated by non-Islanders fans.

Yes trade a 2C on a 65 pt pace making 6 mill per. Smart move!

I get everyone wants to see an OS, but it’s highly unlikely it will actually happen.

I just KNEW that if there was any way that Edmonton could be given another chance at another first overall pick, the NHL would think of it.

Lou has to overpay players to play in long island, dubas has the advantage of players taking discounts to play in toronto like reilly and tavares..

Most of those contracts are horrible. All have NTC clauses, most are overpaid and too much term. Only one I kind of like is Nelson. Lee overpaid by like 1.5M, Eberle ~500k too much, Komarov so many years.. and 3M for a guy coming off a 19 point season.. signing a long term goalie when you know you have an A+ goalie prospect coming.
