I dig the offense and defense. Goaltending is scary. There’s some cap flexibility where you can play around.

if the Sharks are going to bring back Braun, then Jones will be the one getting CBO'd.

Not a fan of trading Hertl, he is the last person the sharks should trade.

Yurtaykin is a big no no no, not anywhere close to ready.

Bozak at 2C is extremely questionable.

This team still won't go anywhere, and they didn't get any significant futures for downgrading so much (other than a single 2nd and Hill).

what? arvidsson had a pretty bad year and ekholm expires soon. Hertl is the best piece in this trade, Labanc is the worst. NSH gives two middle assets

i think arvidsson has lost considerable value after this year. still has high end value, but not nearly as much as before

Undervalueing Arvidsson and Ekholm here hard. Ekholm is a number 2 d on most any team and Arvidsson has had multiple 30+ goal seasons and was on pace for 48 goals last year. He had an injury and resulted in a weak season this year (but basically every pred forward had a weak season so that's a factor too - tough to single out one player when the whole team doesn't meet expectations). And Arvidsson and Hertl are similar in age, but Arvidsson has an incredible contract for another 4 seasons after this. Hertl is good, but give those two players credit too - otherwise you wouldn't be trading for them to be your top line winger and top pair defender.

Wouldn't trade Hertl for that. I think that's a loss for both teams.
