that's what it will take to get zacha though.... and a middle six forward, especially a center is far greater a need than a defenseman

Not on that left side, Ferraro has a ton of potential and their left side is pretty meh since Dillon left.

The inescapable requirement for an Andy trade is at least a 2nd. If you want to throw in a prospect as well, fine, but without the 2nd or higher it's a no-go. (And some of us would rather hold on to Andy in any case...)

the value here far exceeds a 2nd. also if anderson performs poorly in the playoffs too i'd expect his value to drop even more.

"Equivalent value" is unacceptable unless it exceeds it by multiple orders of magnitude. Like, you're trading us a #2C straight up or something equally absurd.
