Doubt the jets trade their pick for danault, especially if lundell is available

I'm sure Suzuki can be a 1C, otherwise some changes can be made within our own roster
As for Domi and KK, they're more like 2A and 2B, the two lines would get a similar amount of icetime

Je suis persuadé que Suzuki peut être un 1C, sinon quelques changements peuvent être faits de l'intérieur
Quant à Domi et KK, c'est plus comme 2A et 2B, les deux trios auraient autant de temps de glace

They're in win now mode. They have to bring in an elite defensive center to play 2C to make sure not to waste Wheeler's last elite years and Scheifele's contract

im quite sure they could do better than danault for what would have to be a top 10 pick. or go elsewhere.

I love danault fit in Winnipeg but not at the cost of a top 10 pick. I suggested a 2021 first round pick (playoff protected) and a prospect like Logan Stanley

Well last year they traded the 20th overall for 20ish games of Kevin Hayes (I know they got it back but still) and Danault > Hayes
The Coyotes traded the 7th overall for Derek Stepan and Danault > Stepan, but the 2020 draft is deeper than 2017, hence why the 12th is fair value

As for Lafreniere, i know that there's a slim chance but there's still a chance. Leafs fans have posted agms of them winning the lottery all week but when a Habs fan does it it's not correct? Thing is, Lafreniere would be happier to play with us than with you and you know that
As for Lundell, he's acquired via a trade

Lundell probably goes top 10 doubt he'd fall to 12th to Winnipeg. And i doubt Chevy makes that deal anyways.

He should tho. Otherwise if it's any pick between 10-15 i'd be ok with that and we don't need Lundell that much, could be a winger like Gunler too.

Why on earth would we trade Danault for Lundell? IMO Lundell’s ceiling is being as good as Danault is now.

IMO we have to capitalize on his high value rn. We don't have to draft Lundell either, any player projected 10-15 could do

I still think it’s best to keep Danault. One thing that almost all Stanley Cup champions have in common is that they have great centre depth. And having really good defensive centres is especially important. Suzuki might be able to fill that role, but I’m not so sure about Domi or KK. And, at least right now, without him we’d be in a very bad place.
