If the plan is to move Rielly to the right side there is no need for the Leafs to chase Colin Miller. That money would be better spent elsewhere.

I think you are a little off on some of the RFA numbers.

And the trades are goofy. No way Minnesota trades for yet another left handed wing and Buffalo absolutely doesn't need a 3rd line center.

Colin Miller sucks, I would put Marincin in the lineup over him 100 out of 100 times.

You are correct, Buffalo needs a second, third and fourth line center...

As much as I hate to admit this, I dont hate that deal as a Sabres fan.

Buffalo has guys who could play 3C. Their problem is they don't have a 2C and it forces them to play guys in a bigger role than they should. If they get a legit 2C, they can slot someone like Johansson down on the 3rd line.

Who do you think can play 3C on their roster? Larsson was a really good 4C and could pass as a 3C in a pinch, but he is a UFA.
