How bad was Trouba? Im a jets fan and when he was paired with Morrisey they were an amazing shut down pairing. Both could skate, be physical and move the puck. Trouba annoyed me at times when he would try and do too much, but a CBO seems extreme, but I didn't really watch him all year.

Pretty good but 8 mil seems like a lot. Looked to him to be number 1 D and not sure if he's suited for that role. Play was a bit inconsistent at times but adjusting to new team, he's obviously talented. towards end of year was playing physical and looked pretty good I thought. but didn't quite live up to contract. I like him, but this is probably the last chance to get out of that contract if clubs get a CBO.

It would get you fired right away. Overpaid by a mill sure, never mind the naysayers he is a big solid 2/3 D, exactly what we need. His worth is still at least a 1st & 2nd. Yes we need to shed cap, that would be Hank (recapture/buyout) (Staal doubt it) Smith (w sweetner). Still need more, either Strome and/or Buch. I doubt we sell TDa or Trouba or Georgiev. 3 bad Ds, Howden, and Donato can't seem to adapt.
