Even if Montour is signed I'm gonna say no. Buf has been shopping Risto a bit and Edm loves trading #1 picks for overrated defensemen. I think I would swap Montour for Risto and do that 3 for 1 instead.

Buffalo does not have many of those lying around. Would you take as Tage Thompson or Ryan Johnson?

Yeah but Holland is there now and he knows what he is doing. You still have to watch him when it comes to signing and resigning plays he passes out NTCs like they are Pez.

I highly doubt Edmonton takes Risto at all much less move RNH to get him.

If people were logical I would agree with you. But as I said I think I've heard about a dozen teams are interested in Risto. I have no recollection if Edm is one of them I just know Gm's have blinders on for that guy.
