Assuming there is a CBO next year, and Carolina uses it on Staal (yes I know he's there captain but he's the only contract they could buyout that would make sense).

Also Riikola has proved he's good enough to be a #6. We can sign who ever on D, I just like Brodie.

    Pettersson is fine. we need an inexpensive 3rd pair--not more top-4 D.

    Wings pass. For two straight years he has been mediocre at best. Yes he is 26 and will be looking for a big pay day and so far he is not trending in the right direction for the 32nd pick or a large payday. Unfortunately it is a what have you done for me lately league, especially with the cap hot going up or only going up slightly.
