Reinhart is country miles better then Drouin, And Mete and a 3rd don't make up that difference.

Reinhart is better then Drouin but not that much better. Plus Reinhart needs to be signed so until you know what that number is neither team makes this trade.

We’re paying Mete & a 3rd to trade Drouin for another winger? No chance.

Whatever the value may be, Buffalo has a bigger need on the right wing than the left side.

I'd consider something centered around Reinhart and Domi

I was literally saying that the habs don’t want to do this trade. So obviously if neither side wants to do it, it isn’t going to happen.

Reinhart is a product of Eichel. Montreal has no interest in paying anything remotely close to this.

I agree, but Botterill needs to find a sucker and sell high or Buffalo is screwed

Holy **** finally a fellow sabres fan that can see clearly.... Decent player but soft and not skilled enough to be worth the 6.5-7 mill he'll inevitably get paid.

Maybe more as Botterill already expects him to go to arbitration

Honestly, I think arb will keep that number down. What scares me is that he just watched Skinner get paid 9 freaking mill and Sam just outproduced him... albeit almost any RW is going to produce with Jack. What's stopping Sam from asking over 7 especially with skinners contract?

Is Botterill the guy to do that? I definitely wouldn't want him in charge to make the decision.

I agree as well lol, but thats what were stuck with. I've never resented the Buffalo Bills more in my life, and I was never a fan of the NFL to start, but the Pegula's are doing a disservice to their One Buffalo branding by continually ignoring the Sabres and focusing on the Bills, only because the Bills are bringing in a profit currently (probably because the Sabres have been a dumpster fire for a decade now, weird, Sabres fans dont want to continually spend money on that)
