If we had our 1st this year I’d say yes, but since we don’t I’d just rather keep our 1st next year. We don’t have much future assets so the ones we have I’d rather not trade for cap space

If there is a buyout, which is assumed here since we see the Rangers using it on Ladd, then why wouldn't the Islanders just use it on Ladd themselves?
