If they want to do that Ekholm definitely need to be on the block... what do you think about the trade on the Sabres side?

If the right offer came around I would think they would bite. If Botterill tried trading Risto last offseason why would that be off the table now? That’s how Iook at it.

Ekholm for 2 years isn't worth that to Buffalo. Won't be resigning on a terrible Buffalo team and still no 2C so they're going nowhere. Deal is fair but makes little sense for Buffalo.
