he is ready for NHL he should be up here...

that's were a Dermott trade is needed

If he's not better than Dermott and/or Lehtonen. I wouldn't want him to be in the bleachers. I rather him play 25 minutes a night in the AHL.

I wouldn't trade Dermott until we know what Reilly wants on his next deal.

Yeah I am of the same mind now. This season for much of the year he was better than the alternatives but I think next season could be a different story.

Reilly is our #1 dman... dermott will bing us what we need for short term

I dont think Robertson will be in the NHL next season, at least play 1 year with Marlies IMO.

That is irrelevant. Rielly is a Norris contender, Dermott is a great depth player. Rielly will be resigned for sure but Dermott is completely expendable, if need be.

One of the biggest issues that was very apparent this past year, is you absolutely need depth and NHL quality depth. TO's forward depth is sick, however on the blueline they can get awfully thin quick, Muzzin and Rielly went down and it was almost insurmountable. Now if you have Dermott playing better than Sandin at this point still, having him on the 3rd pair and 2nd PK while giving Sandin 24 minutes a night on the Marlies and he'll be the first call up great!
