If I’m Vegas I am preparing for exemption on next expansion draft after next season, and gaining picks and cap room to develop ridiculous depth going forward. Starting with one of the better goalie tandems and also a stacked blueline, so making this move wouldn’t be on my radar but definitely intriguing

That package doesn’t get you Eichel and Skinner.

Skinner has arguably the worst contract in hockey. He has negative value. Taking that contract would allow Buffalo to completely blow it up

Skinner just signed that contract and had a career bad year. He’s a 60pt guy. The package you offered up isn’t probably enticing enough for just Eichel. Glass is a great start, Tuch is too the problem is after that what is there to offer really? 1st rd picks, that aren’t even remotely in the lottery range and arguably go back even further in the rd with the addition of Eichel. It’s an easy no for BUF.

You'd have to add a little bit for Eichel alone (another decent prospect at a minimum). Skinner doesn't have negative value. He's overpaid by $1-1.5 mil. Big deal.
