Description
Top 5 pick and 25-31 pick in a deep draft. Henrique has pretty good value after scoring 25g this season but he also helps offset some of the cap and a solid prospect in Terry. Could replace Terry with Jones and/or add Guhle Larsson Heinen Milano or Lundestrom.

I know the replies are gonna be “no Zegras no deal” but BUF is getting a top 5 pick to draft their guy.

This isn't good for the Sabres, if they actually did trade Eichel they shouldn't be getting a guy like Henrique back as one of the main pieces of the deal, should be a top young player or prospect, not an aging 2C.

Henrique is the least valuable piece coming back to BUF. He’s a stopgap 20g C that can play any situation.

This give the ducks a legit SC duo up the middle with Eichel and Zegras. It’s not awful. You hope the top 5 pick turns into eichel

BUF gets a top 5 pick to replace Eichel plus another late 1st. A stop gap top 6C that can play pk and pp and could probly fetch a late 1st or a couple 2nds this offseason plus a solid middle 6 winger prospect. I’d also be willing to add any of the players I mentioned above. That’s quite a haul of futures if they flip Henrique.

No, sorry, didn't mean to give the wrong impression; I'm just saying this is exactly the team I would end up with. You posted it before it was anything more than an idea in my head. And I am not making any claim that I would have come up with this trade idea; I hadn't gotten that far. But this is the kind of roster I'd have. You're way ahead of me.

Eichel's press conference musings are being blown out of proportion as well as context, but as long as everybody's jumping to conclusions, we might as well get in on the fun, too. This is a real nice job, in my opinion.

Terry is the top young prospect. I'm not saying he's as good (or will be) as Mitch Marner, but he shows that same playmaking winger style.

I didn’t read them lol. I just saw all the posts about it. Figured I’d jump on the train. I doubt Eichel goes anywhere but BUF is in a tough spot given their last couple seasons.
