I know im gonna get alot of ur crazy comments or thats a hard pass but its just a thrown out there thought. While I think brady is the best player out of both trades the big picture says its more then a fair trade
Reasons why ottawa would even consider
1. Top rhd to partner with chabot for the long term
2. Veteran center who is still young to help with core moving toward
3. Starting goaltender
Andersson is more a reclamation project that adds aittle value

That is very fast no Tkachuk also doesn't play center

OTT hangs up pretty quick.

There are not many pieces NYR has that fit OTT's rebuild more than Brady. The pieces OTT would want, NYR is not going to want to give up.

Trouba is an overrated above average Dman, Georgiev is not a starting tender, he is a back up until proven otherwise, lias has little value and Strome is to inconsistent to have much value, you could get Brady's used jock strap for this but not much else.
