Ghally G should be top 5. Ennis isn't really a grinder. Hyman > Coleman.

bertuzzi is a power forward, and i also thought Gallagher was a two way forward but you probably know best.

Gallagher is easily the best. Crosby is also easily #2 but Cirelli, Coleman and hyman are very good

"Grinder" is probably the strangest title to give a player. There doesn't seem to be a clear definition. I personally think of winning puck battles, takeaways in the offensive zone, and creating havoc around the net as attributes of a "grinder". Unlike other terms, it seems to only apply in the offensive zone, but maybe that's just me.
Not sure how you're qualifying "speedy grinders"?

guys like Crosby an Eichel even tho they have a gritty style of play they are both two way centers, and have more dominant all around attributes than they're gritty style of play.

No players from the team that just won the Cup with a grinding game, but you include Tyler Ennis? I've seen newborn bunnies that were stronger in the forecheck than Tyler Ennis.

there is not a single player in the league who is better below the goal line. His highlight real of making guys look foolish 2 on 1 is unmatched.
There is no question he is the greatest grinder in the game today.

Not usually 1st or 2nd liners or skilled players in my book.
Mucker-grinder spells PK specialist forward, more 3/4th line material, usually unsung to the likes of the Steve Kasper, Kenny Linesman, Craig McTavish, Travis Green, Jarrett Stoll, Gregory Campbell, Rob Brind' - type..etc, etc....

I'd add/consider (many when healthy or younger ha ha ):
