Lehner i 100% agree with you, But Krug is a very real possibility to come home to Detroit if he doesn't resign with Boston. Name me one potential playoff team that can afford Krug for what he will command? There isn't one.

I think Byfield would be ready as a rookie. Obviously Stuzle has committed to another year in the DEL but Byfield/Laffy/Raymond will be ready.

I think that Krug will take a slight discount to return to Boston, and they aren't in a bad cap crunch.

I'm not convinced that Krug is willing to take a discount to stay in Boston, If this were true he'd probably be resigned by now. Some of the Bruin insiders were saying that Krug staying in Boston isn't a given and some are hearing that the Krug camp is seeking anywhere from $7.5 mill to $8 mill per over 6 or 7 years.

Krug (Detroit boy) depends on Boston's cap situation. If we pay, he might play if he thinks we will be competitive a year or two into his contract. He's young enough that he doesn't need a win now team. Lehner just wants to be paid and some contract length for stability. Also young enough that if he thinks we will be competitive a year or two into his contract, he might come. Draft lottery assumes we get #2 or #3. Byfield MIGHT ne ready, but he starts in GR unless he can make the team as 2C. I wouldn't play him in the bottom 6.

Since you're their agent, what's the starting "ask?"

These people on here that think they know every players motivations and personalities make me laugh. Money motivates players. So does playing for an original six team and a Hall of Fame GM like Yzerman.

I like adding Krug. But are you sure you want to add a good goalie while you’re still rebuilding? Good tending will probably cost you a few draft positions while you’re trying to acquire future core pieces. Just my two cents.

The Wings need a goalie and they have not one goalie in the pipeline that will be NHL ready (if at all) anytime soon. I agree, UFA is the way the team needs to acquire a Goalie. Robin Lehner wouldn't be my choice but then again my name isn't Steve Yzerman so what I think doesn't really matter.

Yzerman isn't stupid enough to pay Krug that kind of money. Ridiculous

Byfield can't play in the AHL for another two years. It's either the NHL or back to the OHL.

Fabbri at 2C would be a disaster. Hopefully Yzerman will steal Cirelli out of Tampa

Lehner can be had but you better believe it's because he gets the best contract he can here. He wants long term. Krug I'm not wild about, I think he'll cost more than hes worth really. He's a good player but he's plain bad defensively. Fabbri isn't a center so if we get laf we still need a top 6 center.

Fabbri was a center until injuries hit. I think juries out on that. Read he wants to play center again. Why not do a 1 year experiment?
