So essentially late 2 firsts and 2 seconds, both pushed out a year. Somehow I think that’ll be a pass, lose my number pass.

So basically garbage for Jack Eichel, Why would Buffalo take a 33 year old Patrik Hornqvist for a 23 year old Jack Eichel. Buffalo doesn't need Murray as they've Ullmark and their goalie prospect that they're high on. Pretty sure buffalo doesn't want Rodrigues back either and Simon and garbage picks. Yeah no.

Hornqvist is a cap dump that’s slightly better then KO going the other way.. and with 10M of Eichel coming off the books, why do they need to dump KO 6M anyways? Answer, they don’t. And that goalie upgrade put up worse numbers this year than Ullmark. Throw in 2 3 line scrubs at best and back to what I said. 2 late firsts and seconds

Okposo is much more negative value than Hornqvist. Hornqvist is actually useful.

Because I’ve never made a clearly fictional trade proposal I’m a troll? Got it. Is this better:

While the value of two firsts and two seconds might be a good starting point, the Sabres would be more inclined to get NHL ready talent, or good young roster players for their star. If that isn’t the case, they will probably just keep their star as he has no say in a trade, and has 6 years left on his contract.

Sorry, the real trolls are the ones who claim because Eichel has made a trade request (he hasn’t) or pretends that he has some kind of leverage to force a trade (he doesn’t) that his return will be less then what it should be or if it is equal value, will be a trade that doesn’t make sense for the Sabres. I feel your trade is neither full value, nor what the Sabres would need.

Not for Buffalo he wouldn’t be. Playing with two of the best centers in the game has been kind to him. Play him with Johan Larsson as his center and see how much value he’d bring

If he played a lot with Crosby or Malkin this would mean something. But he doesn't, so it doesn't.

In his career he’s played with Crosby and Malkin. When KO played with John Tavares he was a decent player as well. Hornqvist is better then KO, no doubt about it. Should he play with someone like Johan Larsson on a team that doesn’t have a Crosby and Malkin taking all the other teams attention, all I’m saying is I doubt he moves the needle. And since 10M would be going off the books, why would Buf need to move KO salary for such a small upgrade, while bringing back said salary? They’d have plenty of space, just not needed.

Sorry dude this eichel trade is even worse than mine...but it’s all theoretical. I get how hard it is. It’s easier trading for Rakell and signing ufas...lol
